The Poetry Slam is back!
Continuing with our monthly tradition of Poetry Slam, on Wednesday, February 10, The Field Library in Peekskill is proud to present slam poet Eric ZORK Alan. ZORK is a 9x National Slam Poet Competitor and author of “Things to do with Beer Bottles” and “Stolen Snapshots: I am NOT a poet”. He has featured all over the country, including Chicago’s legendary Green Mill, where slam started.
He will hold a series of workshops and performances at Peekskill’s Middle and High schools with a culminating public performance –followed by open mike, refreshments and pizza for all ages at 3:30 p.m. in the Field Library.
Eric “ZORK” Alan is not only this months featured poet, but one of the organizers of the Poetry Slam series at the Field Library, as well as Poetry slam series’ in White Plains and Yonkers.
One and all are welcome to attend and participate, and refreshments will be served.
